Flora in Focus: A Creative Workshop & Flower Grower Gathering
Join us for a summer evening among the flowers at Green Willow Gardens!
This event is part creative workshop, part community gathering, and the perfect mid-season reset.
All flower lovers are welcome - just note that the workshop is especially tailored to flower farmers, gardeners, and anyone wanting to better capture the beauty of their blooms through photography.
What to Expect
We'll begin the evening with a hands-on photography workshop led by Rachel Evelyn Photography, covering:
Capturing Your Flowers: Learn simple ways to make your blooms stand out using natural settings and creative angles.
Mastering Natural Light: Discover how to use light to create beautiful, soft images—even on cloudy days.
Photo Tips for Any Device: Get quick tricks to improve your shots, whether you’re using a phone or a camera.
Getting Comfortable in Front of the Camera: Feel confident and authentic in your photos with easy, approachable posing tips.
After the workshop, each participant will have time for a short individual photo session (two poses included). If you’d like to be photographed with your own product, feel free to bring a bouquet, bucket, or arrangement!
Once your photos are taken, you're welcome to stroll the flower fields, connect with fellow growers, and chat with Rachel or Erin about flowers, photography, or flower farming.

Arrival: Between 6:15–6:30 PM
Workshop starts at 6:30 PM
Cost: $35 per person (includes workshop + 2 professional photos delivered via email)
Everyone must purchase a ticket in advance – no drop-ins
Rain date: In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled (no refunds will be issued)
